Courses Duration Diploma in Tool & Die Technology 4 years Certificate Course in Heat Treatment 2 years Post Diploma in Advance Tool Manufacturing 1 year Post Diploma in Advance Tool Designing 1 year Condensed course in Tool & Die Making 1 year Diploma in Computer Aided Designing (for Dip. holders in Mech Engg or Equi.) 1 yr Part-time Certificate in Computer Aided Tool Engineering (for Draughtsman, Technician with engineering drawing base or equivalent) 1 yr Part-time Courses in CAD/CAM/CNC Technology Part-time Short-term refresher courses Part-time The Long-term training consists of the Four-Year Diploma Course in Tool & Die Technology, a One Year Post Diploma in Tool Engineering, and a Two-Year Certificate Course in Heat Treatment. The Diploma course is affiliated to the Punjab State Board of Technical Education (SBTE), Chandigarh and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Delhi. The Short-Term courses address various topics in the field of Tool Engineering. Now they are mostly dealing with CNC programming and machining as well as CAD/CAM. Conventional courses on turning and milling or related topics are slowly but gradually being phased out of the CTR range of training services.
